Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Cabrera.
Hi Jasmine, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started my photography journey as a hobby back in 2016 when I had my daughter, Aubrey! After years of sporadically photographing everything from grad photos, maternity, family, etc., I stopped completely. During the pandemic, I picked the camera back up and decided to focus on Actor Headshots. As a fellow actress, I understand the need for affordable yet quality headshots! This prompted me to start my first business which I went to name Jassie Headshots! Earlier this year, I decided to expand and work more with entrepreneurs and small business owners by offering personal branding photo sessions and social media management to enhance their online presence. Which lead to my second business, Pristine Imagery!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
From the start, things were smooth! I was booked (as an actor) often on commercials and gained my clientele effortlessly by promoting my business on set. As a result, my business was booming! So I decided to step back from acting and completely focus on the business. This is where the road got bumpy. Since I was no longer acting, I wasn’t in those environments that were filled with my targeted clientele. This caused me to have to intensify my marketing plan!

Jassie Headshots is a photography business that specializes in Actor Headshots in the Los Angeles area. What sets me apart from other headshot photographers is my prices. Affordable, quality headshots should be accessible to all actors regardless of budget! As an actor, I understand firsthand how expensive this industry can be which is the reason behind my affordable pricing.
What matters most to you? Why?
My seven years old daughter, Aubrey means the most to me! My #1 goal is to be a great mom. I strive to give her the best life possible and create generational wealth!
