Today we’d like to introduce you to Lily Kennedy.

Hi Lily, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I open Lily’s Pet Grooming Spa & Boutique in September of 2012. Pet Grooming was never something I ever thought I would be doing I change my career at an older age because I wanted a change in career. I was a Registered Nurse for over ten years My husband saw that I wasn’t happy so he encourage me to try something new. So I did some research and found Pet Grooming. It was the best decision I made I find joy in helping and seeing the transformation of each animal I due and seeing my client’s reactions.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Health has been the struggle for me I had a brain aneurysm that happen to me back in 2015. I had to learn how to walk, talk and get my strength back. Doctors gave me a small chance of recovery. I’m still not 100 percent but my love for grooming is so big I still come to work.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Lili’s Pet Grooming Spa & Boutique?
Lilis Pet Grooming is a place where pets can come and relax and enjoy a day at the spa. We bath and teeth cleaning anal glands expression with a haircut and a complementary fragrance and bandanna. what sets us apart from other businesses the love & Care for our Furry friends. We treat every customer with the same quality. I think the most thing we are proud of is my dream of opening something I care and love and that with a change in my career, I was able to accomplish it. I want the readers to know that we are here to help and care for the furry friends. I want them to know that they’ll be in the best care and have the same equal service as every dog that comes in here.

What matters most to you?
The most thing that matters to me is my family why since my husband left I have been a father and mother to four kids and it hasn’t been easy raising three boys and one girl all bye yourself. I’m proud I was able to provide schooling for all of them and they know the value of a dollar.
