Today we’d like to introduce you to Thomas Walton.
Thomas, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I am a Producer, writer and director. I am also an Executive/Co-owner @Lux Angeles Studios. At Lux Angeles Studios, we are a mini-major studio that focuses on pre-production, production and post-production.
The last film I directed was – Camp Pleasant Lake, that starred Jonathan Lipnicki, Bonnie Aarons, Michael Pare, Mike Ferguson, Kelly Reiter, Andrew Divoff, Devanny Pinn and many more.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No. The Entertainment business is always highs and Dips. You just have to stay focused, and if this is what you want, stick it out. I have been in the Entertainment business for 15 plus years now. It’s been a rollercoaster, but I’ve enjoyed it.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a co-owner of a studio with my 5 business partners. I love that we get to all work together, live out our dreams and all rise together as a team.
I’m also known in the horror world. My next feature “Camp Pleasant Lake” has a great cast, with horror legend Bonnie Aarons, Jonathan Lipnicki, Michael Pare, Robert LaSardo, Mike Ferguson, Kelly Reiter, Greg Tally, Andrew Divoff, Devanny Pinn and many more.
Also, we just finished up the sci-if drama “Static Codes” directed by my business partner – David M. Parks, Produced by myself, Jared Safier, George Lambriodes, Lenny Vitulli and Matthew Macur.
I’m very proud of those movies.
What were you like growing up?
I grew up in Philadelphia. I was very artistic, a thinking dreamer, and knew since day 1 I was going to be in the Entertainment business.
