Today we’d like to introduce you to Boris Tonkikh.
Hi Boris, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I stand 6’6 tall and am a model, actor, and content creator.
I’m the youngest of three siblings and I came from a Romanian family who was originally from Chisinau, Romania. As a kid, I was always very much interested in sports and activities that involved body movements. I also liked presenting myself in the best light possible, so I dressed up well and was always groomed. Naturally, I fell in love with working out since it’s so close to athletics.
As a 15-year-old, I started working out and later on proceeded to being a fitness coach. As I was doing my passion, a lot of good things came out of it and that led me to really feel good about myself. That translated to me being in a very good physique and so I started modeling. The very first modeling gig I did was for an agency in Seattle in 2020. Photographers loved how I carried myself in a very stylish and tasteful way.
Due to a great reception, I was signed by NTA Talent Agency in 2020 which was founded by Nick Terzian in 1999. One of the leading SAG-franchised agencies in Los Angeles landed me some of my first few roles like a mafia boss, modern-day “Tom Ellis” from the syndication of “Lucifer,” and a vampire. All roles were of great delight to me since I felt they were best for my physique and personality.
Since the pandemic, I also have been doing a lot of content creator work and have grown my Tiktok account to 782.7K followers and 13.5M likes. My Instagram account also has 91.6M followers. I enjoy uploading a lot of content relating to my work as a model, doing reels on topics I find interesting, or just connecting with my followers.
For now, I would love to portray characters in the 1940s era and try 1940s fashion. Some more vampire roles would be nice too. I’d also like to participate in a runway show during New York Fashion Week or London Fashion Week.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My family was originally from Chisinau, Romania. At the age of seven, our family had to move to the US to get a better life.
Growing up, that was one of my biggest challenges since it was such a tough uprooting. I was building friendships and connections then but suddenly had to move somewhere else. It wasn’t something I initially enjoyed.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Currently, I am looking into opening up my own gym. I will be offering training, gym memberships, and nutritional counseling. I’m looking at several locations within Los Angeles or Seattle. I’m an Entreprenuer at heart, so it makes perfect sense to make this next move.
As I increase my Tiktok platform and audience; currently I am striving to find new and interesting content to post. So that takes a lot of my time and effort. But that never stops me from pursuing other projects. Especially my new podcast called, ” Rawandrealtalkshow” on Instagram where I talk about new and interesting topics.
As my schedule gets busier, and I’m booking more modeling jobs. My focus is still in acting, as I’m trying to improve my acting skills. My dream is still to obtain an acting part within the Vampire or mob boss genre. Stay tuned for more!

How do you think about luck?
As I started working, I was lucky enough that I was surrounded by people that showed massive support for what I do. I’m lucky I signed to the right agencies and accepted the roles and gigs I got because they later on led to many more doors that I wouldn’t have gotten without the help of all those people.
I’m also lucky my parents thought of moving to the US because then it gave me a new environment where I can pursue my dreams and passion.
