Today we’d like to introduce you to Khalia Edmond.

Khalia, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I have always been a creative person. My passions range from songwriting to styling, music, production, hosting, radio, and now photography. Kma Kontent was created to create the best images of oneself in an artistic yet flattering way. My goal is for my clients to be confident and admire the photo of themselves because I am capturing their true beauty in every shot. Also, videography, capture the moment is so important and telling a story of the vibe through visuals allows you to reconnect with that moment again and I make sure to provide that to my clients.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Starting a new business always has challenges. From meeting new clients to perfecting your craft, and learning the business side of a new industry comes with some bumps in the road. What I have learned is if you are truly passionate about your business focus on the good and let that outweigh the bad. Focus on what you are striving for and have tunnel vision until you get there. Also, surround yourself with like-minded people who have similar goals and passions and inspire one another. Networking is key in any new business.

I am a photographer that works primarily in the Los Angeles and Inland Empire. I created my company KMA Kontent which is a service-based production company. We create high-value marketable photos+videos for brands and businesses.

KMA Kontent focuses on creative photography with many years of providing clientele, both fashion and editorial, with images that consistently deliver superior quality and innovative style.

I approach each shoot and assignment as a vehicle to create images that are visually appealing and uniquely original. Applying technical skills and expert knowledge of lighting and pictorial composition, my goal is to be considered one of today’s preeminent photographers in the State of California.

What are your plans for the future?
I’m excited to continue working with current clients and new clients. My website is officially up for booking and since it’s a new year 2023, I’m mostly excited for my business to grow this year.
