Today we’d like to introduce you to Brooklyn, Brinkley, and Bixby.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
We saw our first Cirque du Soleil show when we were 2 years old. Ever since then, we knew we wanted to be in the circus. We started training at Le Petit Cirque when we were 10 years old, and have been training there ever since. We have learned many different circus disciplines from aerial straps, trapeze, hand balancing and contortion to juggling knifes, unicycling, tumbling, acro, and dance. Le Petit Cirque is like the all-kids version of Cirque du Soleil. Our dream is to travel and perform with Cirque du Soleil. For more information about Le Petit Cirque, I’ve attached Le Petit Cirque’s website under the contact information section.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
During the pandemic, all live entertainment shut down, so our studio was in danger of closing. At first, we thought that there was no way we were going to survive, especially as we watched many other circuses close down. We had to train outside with masks on, but we weren’t going to give up. We started filming virtual shows to survive the pandemic. Now we are so excited to be back to doing live shows again.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
We are circus performers. We travel around the world performing with Le Petit Cirque, the all-kids version of Cirque du Soleil. Le Petit Cirque can be booked for galas and other private events.
For questions on pricing, I defer those questions to Nathalie Yves Gaulthier, the director/founder of Le Petit Cirque.
How do you define success?
Some of our greatest successes with Le Petit Cirque have been in humanitarian work. Le Petit Cirque has raised over $6.3 million for various charities. and has even helped circus artists in Ukraine to get out of the country. Le Petit Cirque has performed at the Nobel Peace Prize concert in Oslo, Norway to speak out against nuclear weapons. We did a show to raise money for a boy who had Treacher Collin’s syndrome (which causes facial deformity) and he couldn’t hear because of it. The show raised enough money to get him a cochlear implant, and we got to watch his reaction as he heard for the first time.
