Meet Lita Cline

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lita Cline.

Hi Lita, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I modeled briefly as a child but stopped to focus on school. When I was in college, I decided to step back into the modeling world. I went through my agent in Texas, Diane Dick Legends. I signed a 3-month contract to model in China in 2019. When I came back, I went to IMTA in LA 2020, & won top female model of the year. I signed with Elite LA, The Rock Chicago,The Source Models in Miami & Kim Dawson in Dallas. In 2022, I signed with Crawford Models in New York and walked my first New York Fashion Week with COACH. I’ve been very blessed to have traveled to Milan & Paris for fashion weeks. I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My first experience traveling abroad was to china and being in a foreign country where nobody really spoke English was a challenge, but one I took with gratitude. My roommates were all from Brazil so they mostly spoke Portuguese.
I learned so much about other cultures and was able to teach them some things they’ve never seen before either.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I love to try new things and learn how to do them to the best I can. I’ve always been into art and paint on the side, I write music and play guitar, trombone, piano and drums. I like to teach myself and challenge myself to do anything I set my mind to. I have three nieces who watch me and my career and I just want them to see that they can do anything and follow their dreams.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important thing I’ve learned is to love myself no matter what. So many people will come and go, clients will reject you & others will try to put you down. But to find peace through all the chaos and see love through the hate makes the journey so much brighter.
