Today we’d like to introduce you to Cameron Thomas.

Hi Cameron, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Cameron Thomas also known as rap artist “Cteethomas”. Born in Pomona, CA. What sets me apart from others is my willingness to strive and never give up through hard times. I also have a good ear when it comes to listening to what people have to say. My drive and dedication to do whatever it takes to succeed allow me to stand out. I tend to be a person who gets a lot of attention from others in a good way. For example, if I walk in a room all eyes are on me and people start walking up, people love my vibes and how I move.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely has not always been easy. I’ve had hardships in life that the everyday person has probably been lucky enough never to have gone through. I’ve been through some of people’s worst nightmares… from being put in the foster system to bring homeless to being the victim of online scamming… the list goes on. When I was homeless, it taught me how to survive, save money and it especially taught me what was important in life. It taught me that I should never underestimate the value of a dollar. Regarding the online scamming, it taught me to never give your money to anyone online without doing thorough background research of the individual(s) trying to swindle you. So yes the road has not always been easy but I try not to look back at the negativity. My talent and blessings keep me especially happy and uplifted. Hopefully sharing them with the world through music will make people happy and uplifted too.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Luckily what comes to me easily and has always gone smoothly is the writing of my music. My passion and creativity drive me to write songs quickly. (Many of my hits were written within a few hours). I have been blessed with a creative flow that comes from my love of the artform and music. Also, the challenge of writing versatile and unique pieces drives me. I love the diversity of my songs… I take pride in being the type of musician that can create songs for everybody. Everybody can relate to at least one of my songs whether it’s about growing up in the streets, passionate/romantic love, dealing with everyday things in life, etc. Plus I always carefully hand-pick the best beats because who doesn’t love a rhythmic beat you can’t help but bop your head to?
