Today we’d like to introduce you to Namaste Natasha.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Namaste, I’m Natasha, a first-generation Mexican & Native American, 200 HR Vinyasa Yoga Instructor, Reiki Master, Access Bars Practitioner, Massage Therapist, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Life Coach & Holistic Healer born and raised in and around Los Angeles.
I’m very grateful to have a close relationship with my parents and family, who have been my biggest supporters and source of inspiration. The respect I have for my elders is insurmountable, as they taught me so much about life, love and sacrifice. The story of my family immigrating to the U.S. could well be the plot of a Hollywood movie, but hearing this at a young age made me truly understand what it meant to risk it all to create a better life for their family and generations to come.
I was raised in a spiritual household, always drawn to the supernatural and able to see the magic and beauty beyond everyday life. Claircognizance is in my DNA, and I was fortunate to be mentored and empowered by Reiki Masters and Theta Healers. I quickly learned that my mindset was the strongest tool I had. I’ve meditated twice a day, almost every day for over 14 years, and credit mindfulness as to how I’ve been able to remain equanimous in any situation.
As a teen and young adult, I spent my free time in dance and singing lessons, performing with community and Professional Theatre groups. While pursuing my BA at the University of La Verne, I was called to finish my studies in the UK and completed my Master at The University of Surrey/Guildford School of Acting. I was grateful working and performing with members of the Royal Shakespeare Company and singing on stage in an Off-Broadway show in NYC. When I finally made my way back to LA, I continued on the film & television route, appeared in several movies, commercials and eventually on to fitness model.
I decided to pivot my industry experience to the back end and spent the next 5 years working at a famous hotel in Hollywood organizing, planning, and managing dinners, red carpet events, award season industry parties, and fashion shows. My life took another pivot when I accepted a new role in Human Resources and found how I could apply my passion for helping others in a corporate setting.
My entire life, I remained consistent in my workout training but kept my fitness and wellness endeavors as a passion project. After work, I would attend different sound baths, ceremonies, and meditation classes, deepening my knowledge of the mind and consciousness.
After a debilitating car accident, I knew this was my “spiritual test,” and I had all the tools within me I needed to transmute the energy to heal myself mentally, physically and spiritually. I also spent a year in therapy with a focus on Shadow-work and had several energy clearings by theta healers and shamans, eventually becoming their student and now healer and teacher. With the new knowledge and first-hand experience I had, I started my own business to focus on training and empowering others to heal from the inside out.
With the training methods I’ve developed, I am now able to practice yoga 5x a week, Lagree 5x a week and I am able to lift weights 2x a week. My on-camera and performance skills came full circle as I am also a core Fitness Model for Lagree On Demand and continue to work and train with other healers and professionals in the community to raise consciousness through performances, retreats, ceremonies and music.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I learned that blessings truly come in unexpected ways.
Four years ago I was hit by a car while cycling in Downtown LA. I suffered from a herniated disc and bulging disc in my L4 & L5, bulging discs in my T2 & T3, bone contusions, cuts, scrapes, bruises all over my body and was severely out of alignment. I came back home after a long night in the Emergency Room and broke down. At that moment, I knew that my life was about to change in a major way and I was terrified.
For the next several months I sunk into a major depression. My body ached, I had to take time off from work and the gym was in and out of different doctors’ appointments, and had a hard time grappling with the fact that not only did the driver hit me, he sped off. As a lightworker, It was really difficult for me to comprehend that you could deeply hurt another human being this way with no concern or remorse. But the universe shined a light on me and the passenger in the car came to help me and gave me the driver’s information.
I took time to rest and recharge but felt restless. Health and fitness was my work, my passion, my drive, and it hurt to move, even to sleep sometimes. I saw a pain management specialist and when I asked about eventually getting back into the gym, the doctor recommended that I not lift any weights or engage in any strenuous activity as not to pinch the nerve even more and then wrote me 3 different prescriptions for pain medicine. I was floored. I then had to provide a compelling argument to even get a referral for physical therapy.
I refused and rejected the doctor’s limiting belief and took my rehabilitation into my own hands. The health professionals I saw were only interested in masking or injecting the pain rather than heal it. I started off with acupuncture & cupping twice a week, therapeutic massage once a week, and yoga twice a week. I never took the pills they gave me, I took the time to learn about how my body was stuck and ways to bring it back into alignment. Yoga was the answer.
I slowly increased my practice to 4-5x times per week, each day documenting my pain levels. After about a year of consistent yoga practice coupled with my other alternative healing methods, my pain had decreased %70. I nearly cried tears of joy the day I woke up pain-free. There was so much physical strength that went into healing my body, but the mental strength and new mindset I took away from this experience was life-changing.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
I’ve always been a risk taker. For me, the biggest transformations happen when I push through my comfort zone, trust the divine and open myself to the possibilities of life. They are definitely calculated risks, always making sure that what I am pursuing is aligned with my goals. I learned to view the setbacks I’ve faced as indicators of my proximity to alignment with my higher purpose.
The biggest risk I’ve taken so far was quitting my corporate job to pursue my passion for health, fitness and holistic healing. It had always been my side hustle and when I finally took the leap to start my own business, it created space for amazing opportunities to come into my life. It was amazing to see how I had transformed not only my business but myself to be stronger, powerful and more conscious than ever before.
Risks can be a great teacher and every day I am so grateful to be in service to others and empower them to heal. I have seen so many of my clients, friends and family transform their bodies, mindsets, and lives over the years and it inspires me to keep learning, expanding and sharing my gift. I am extremely excited to soon offer retreats abroad, music incorporating sound healing, and sharing more conscious health, fitness and wellness content accessible for all.
I’ve found that once you train your logical mind to stop thinking about any obstacles or worries and instead focus on gratitude in the here and now, you can raise your vibration and enter into a receiving mode. When you are clear, open and receptive, inspiration starts to flow, and if you act on your inspiration, you will be led to synchronicities that will help you to manifest anything and everything you desire.
