Meet Will Evans

Today we’d like to introduce you to Will Evans.

Hi Will, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started off in a small, impoverished city named Moreno Valley in the Inland Empire region of California. Like many youths from urban environments, I got involved in crime very young. After being incarcerated, shot multiple times, and losing many loved ones, I made a concerted effort to change myself and my circumstances. I started to create music and that turned into an overall passion for the entertainment business. In addition to music, I began writing short films, creating skits/content, and developing a media company. My following grew immensely and I became famous in my area for content that represented our communities. My media company began to generate 30 million + impressions per month. I woke up one day and realized I was 26 years old making more money than brain surgeons, lawyers, and other people society deemed as successful. I felt as if I had “made it”.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It was a very difficult path for me. I had to overcome many deaths in my family and friends group. At 22 years old, I had already been previously incarcerated and shot multiple times. Surviving to see 25 years old was a milestone for me. I attribute my journey to God’s protection because I am not sure I could have kept my sanity on my own; let alone become successful in spite of all I’ve been through.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
In addition to being an artist & influencer, I developed a media company that generates 30+ Million impressions per month and continues to grow annually. As an influencer, Tik Tok has informed me, I have been responsible for generating over 1.1 Billion Views through content on their platform. As a musical artist I have maintained all my master’s and publishing while independently having my own annual music festival.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
As all entrepreneurs, I do try to predict the future and pre-adjust to changes before they arrive. The entertainment industry changes so rapidly it’s hard to say what will be the next big shift. I do, however, believe the idea of a “Hollywood Gateway” is dying and tech & media /streaming companies becoming the new gatekeepers to being successful in entertainment. Either way, I plan to continue success and grow my media company over time. That is my main focus at this point.
