Inspiring Conversations with Julie Greene of Frontier Tarot

Today we’d like to introduce you to Julie Greene. 

Hi Julie, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
The story behind Frontier Tarot is very unique. In 2014 I had what is known as a Kundalini Awakening. I met a gentleman on Christmas Eve at the Chateau Marmont quite unexpectedly. Without going into all the details, we spent an amazing, life-changing night together. A few days after our encounter I began to get very intense downloads, visions, and images of past lives with this person. They would come out of nowhere…in the shower, at work, while driving my car. My body would start to shake, my knees would buckle, and I would oftentimes be reduced to tears as the images were very powerful and the feelings extremely intense. This became quite debilitating and confusing as I did not know what was happening to me. I began a deep dive into researching these types of phenomena. I was drawn to learn Tarot alongside other divination tools as a way to channel the information that was coming through. After a year or so of learning how to manage the downloads, I began to get better at channeling the information. Much like a water faucet, I learned how to turn on and off the visions and tune into the messages that I was receiving. I discovered that I was able to channel information from higher sources of intelligence and I began to get information first through automatic writing and then just by simply tuning in. Friends and neighbors began to ask what I was up to, and I started to read for them using my newfound channeling abilities alongside the wisdom and guidance of my favorite tarot and oracle decks. I founded Frontier Tarot in 2020 during the pandemic and began helping people navigate their lives through my gift of channeling and reading energy. 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Hardly! The beginning of my journey was extremely intense and sometimes frightening. Once I understood what was happening to me it became a lot easier. This type of work takes an enormous amount of practice and connection to myself and the higher dimensions. I never imagined in a million years this is what I would be doing with my life, but I am so grateful as it has helped me feel so much more connected to life and all the beauty and wisdom that exists in the higher realms. I absolutely love helping people better understand what their natural abilities and gifts are. What I know for sure is that we are all here because we have a mission. My job is to help connect you to your life’s purpose and guide you through the process of getting on your spiritual path and move you toward more joy, success, and abundance. 

We’ve been impressed with Frontier Tarot, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I founded Frontier Tarot to help individuals and businesses discover and live their life’s mission. I offer private readings and consulting sessions as well as ongoing intuitive guidance and coaching. I work with people both in-person and remotely. I am known for my straightforward, direct approach. My style is very fun, uplifting, and inspiring. I work mostly with modern seekers who may be feeling a bit stuck on their journey and need clarity, guidance, and direction. As a lifelong entrepreneur, I also love working with small businesses to help create a strong vision for their future and provide support needed along the way. My brand is very simple and uses beautiful imagery from many artists around the world. 

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Risk-taking is everything in business, especially mine as many people are still skeptical about what I do for a living. My background is in fashion and branding so for me to come out as an intuitive consultant was challenging because it is so different than my previous work. I often tell people that I had to come out of the “psychic closet.” I feel what’s most important for a successful business is authenticity and being authentic is rarely easy, especially in our culture. I continue to take risks with my business every day. I’m often asked to give talks and speak in front of large groups of people so there is always a new level of vulnerability that is required. A lot of my work is centered around helping my clients take risks in their lives. It’s important to know that you don’t have to do it alone!
