Today we’d like to introduce you to Tamara NeCole.

Hi Tamara, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Ten years ago I started out on a journey to make women feel beautiful through the expression of hair. After working as an employee of a hair salon for some years, I felt like there was something missing from the hair salon experience so I sought to create the best hair salon experience I knew Los Angeles needed. Saddity Hair Salon allows women to transform into the best version of themselves. In addition to providing an excellent hair salon experience, I have created a line of ethically sourced extensions, hair care products and hot tools. Not only have I created a stellar hair salon experience for my personal clients, but I have also created a place for other cosmetologists to rent booths and service their clients in a beautiful and clean environment.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
2020 was a very hard year for The Saddity Hair Salon, at one point I was forced to shut down for several months and my business plummeted. While reviewing the cosmetology industry, I noticed that hair care product sales still remained the same or they ultimately scaled. While I love physically servicing my clients, I would like to scale my product line.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a salon owner who specializes in Extensions. My customers are women from all different backgrounds looking to refresh their look, maintain the overall health of their hair, or transform into a new person. I am most proud of The Saddity Hair Salon. What sets us apart? we meet our customers’ needs by offering a clean, efficient, positive, and swift hair care experience. Many of my customers are parents, doctors, lawyers, and techs who need the autonomy of booking a quick blow dry. Additionally, some of my customers are models who need a hairstylist who can carefully and meticulously transform their hair for special events. Fortunately for me, my customers are diverse but all want the same end goal- to have a great heart enabling them to be the best version of themselves.

Any big plans?
I would like to scale my product line. There are so many harmful hair care products out there and I want to expand my product line and include clean shampoos, clean conditioners, clean scalp treatments, and hair growth serums. In addition, introducing our press bar for natural hair services….
