Daily Inspiration: Meet Samantha Cimarelli

Today we’d like to introduce you to Samantha Cimarelli.

Hi Samantha, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
In 2016, I began posting on social media and using platforms like Instagram and Youtube consistently. I graduated with a BA in 2017 and decided to move from Delco, PA to Miami, Florida for a change in scenery. I lived in Miami for three years, working as a behavior technician with children diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, ADD, and other diagnoses. In August 2018, I began my Master’s program at The Sage Colleges for Applied Behavior Analysis for Autism; Graduating in December 2020. In August of 2019, I was cast for Netflix S1 of The Circle. By March of 2020, I acquired 1.1m+ followers/subscribers across IG and Youtube. In July of 2020, I moved across the country to Los Angeles and have pursued social media since. I recently just had a baby this month, April 2022.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not everything has been smooth. In 2017, when I moved to Miami, I only had 3 thousand dollars to my name. I was living out of my car for two weeks, trying to find a job and an apartment. When I filmed for The Circle in 2019, I had to skip a semester of school, which pushed my graduation back by 4/5 months. Also, after not working for the month I was filming The Circle, I came home in September with no money and was unable to pay my rent for the month; I had to ask family for financial help. I didn’t start making money or becoming financially stable until March of 2020.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
When it comes to social media, I love presenting real, authentic, genuine content that people can relate to. I try my best to make everyone who sees or comes to my channel feel like they can relate to everything I’m doing and going through.

What’s next?
Right now, I’m just focusing on my newborn.
