Today we’d like to introduce you to Dazia Rice.

Hi Dazia, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started Rice Consulting Co in August of 2018 from my parent’s living room. I had no idea what I was doing, all I knew was that I wanted to start my own company. Prior to me starting my business, I had already began my career in law enforcement which I started at the age of 20. So I was doing fairly well. But I knew I wanted to do more and I wasn’t going to be satisfied until I did more. By the end of 2018, Rice Consulting Co was already well-known. In 2019, I manifested that I would start referring to my business as one of the top small businesses and by mid-2019. It happened.

Since the start of Rice Consulting Co., we have serviced over 100+ clients through the pandemic and now have four office locations in Greenville, South Carolina, Charlotte, North Carolina and Atlanta, Georgia.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I guess I should start by saying Entrepreneurship isn’t easy at all. But it’s so worth it especially if you have a vision to create for the future. There were many times where I questioned if I was doing the right thing or had made a mistake by starting my own company and truth be told, I was walking into my purpose the entire time. A few challenges I faced early on was not having enough money to do what I really needed to do. My first year in business, I probably made $25 and spent well over 10K. Fast forward two years later, I’ve made all that money back. I truly believe in order to get where you want to be, you have to trust the process.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Rice Consulting Co is a Consulting Company that specializes in all things business-related. We specialize in small business start-ups, personal and business taxes and website design. We are known for business and nobody understands business quite like we do. That’s our core. No client is treated the same. Although they may come in for the same consultation. The experience will definitely be different. As the owner, I’m most proud of the growth. To watch my business flourish through a pandemic to now one of the top and best consulting companies will forever be the greatest accomplishment.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
God first and foremost. My parents for always believing in me. My friends for their support. They are the real MVPs. Then we have Quiana Watson, Atlanta’s Top Real Estate Broker, Pinky Cole, Owner and Founder of Slutty Vegan and Ryan Serhant. of SERHANT. These individuals have all inspired me to dream big and create the life I want without any boundaries.
