Meet Marianna Fiorin

Today we’d like to introduce you to Marianna Fiorin.

Hi Marianna, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Growing up in northern Italy as the daughter of a woodworker in a third-generation mill working family, I’ve been playing with wooden samples my whole life. After my Master’s degree in Architecture in Venice, I started to work for my family’s company but my enthusiasm for the architecture world was too big so I decided to explore working for architecture firms outside. In 2014 I decided to try to realize my big Dream and to move in New York City… And here I am!

I specialize in high-end interior architecture that is my passion. I’m currently working on residential and commercial projects in New York City, Los Angeles, Long Island, Jerusalem, and I collaborate with my family’s company.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It has not been smooth. Leaving my family and friends the so called comfort zone has not been easy, beside the excitement for being here was stronger. I struggled sometimes as I felt like I was alone dealing with tough situations. Another factor for example has been meeting people that were not respecting my work and time along the way.

I guess this is something that happens to everyone, and I’m happy I didn’t let this discourage me and I didn’t loose sight of my dreams. We will always encounter a difficult situation or difficult people; it is all about us and how we react!

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I founded Marianna Fiorin Interiors as a full-service company, from the sketch to the installation. We take care of every aspect of the project, from the layout to the budget control, the material board, the placement of the orders.

I think our strength is the clear way we have to present the project to our clients and to the people involved in the realization of it.

The computer programs we use, which are the most advance, allow to offer realistic visualization to our clients.
