Brianna, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Growing up in South Los Angeles, there was a vast array of ‘environments’ I was exposed to. Being placed in Private educational institutions from Early Education through Middle school, I feel, did give me a bit of a social advantage. Learning from and befriending people from different ethnic backgrounds and cultures gave me a broader understanding of the human experience. And then, to become a student at the public Crenshaw High School was a new experience; one that I was excited and yet a bit nervous to venture into. To see so many other girls, boys and staff that looked like me, was an amazing feeling; I actually felt HOME. Fast forward through my college career and later becoming a mother, I had to think about our future. After doing a bit of research on lifelong careers that have a positive experience, I decided to study within healthcare. And, with life’s travels, I got to a place where I needed bigger and even better to happen; I had my family and angels watching over me to strive for! And this is when the Entrepreneur bug bit me! I started w/ multilevel marketing businesses, but that wasn’t long-lived. I needed to use this life I’ve been given to do my best and creating MY OWN BUSINESS FROM THE GROUND UP is what I did! And so, came forth Purple Passion Photo Booth 💜📸💜

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Creating my business from the ground up hasn’t been the hardest of times, even considering the fact that I do not have any formal professional experience in photography; just an eye for the beauty in life. And yes, it surely hasn’t been the smoothest, either! Researching to find quality products and support were imperative. Sitting back and thinking about my WHY and if I have enough interest in the field of photography and ‘photo boothing’ to maintain and progress my business was a constant thought in my mind. But, when I thought on where I was and where I wanted myself and my family to be in the future, all doubts left. Success is already available. We just have to go get it! And that’s what I’m striving for with my business.
