Today we’d like to introduce you to Paige Stone.
Hi Paige, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I have been an international published model now for eight years and have always had a strong sense of self and what I find attractive to wear as a woman.
I started self-styling my modeling shoots, which fueled my inspiration to create elegant, feminine one off pieces to fit my unique taste.
After two years into my modeling career Glamnoir Couture was born out of my love for the dark seductive side of life.
I used my passion as inspiration and started to design and hand-make sample pieces.
Glamnoir Couture is based on contrasts of Dark Romantic’s with a fetish twist.
I used feminine laces, trims, beads, sequins and sheer fabrics and add O-rings, straps, chains, latex for a dark edgy twist.
My creations focus on seductive playsuits, harnesses and decorative latex neckpieces which adorn the female form in all the right places yet leave little to the imagination.
Each piece is handmade and unique.
Glamnoir Couture is fashion inspired by Lingerie, every piece can be worn for the art of tease or can be flaunted in public.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
I am self-taught in design and sewing so there were numerous tempter tantrums when things didn’t work, I didn’t even know how to use a sewing machine and was terrible at measurements but with all my determination, I was going to get it right.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
One of Glamnoir Couture’s career highlights so far as been the collaboration in 2019 with the effervescent fashion designer Michael Lombard at Paris, Milan and London Fashion week. Michael has dressed such luminaries as Paula Abdul and Corey Taylor the creations dreamed up by Michael and Paige were beautiful and extreme in equal measure, that really pushed the envelope in regard to fetish and leather fashion.
Glamnoir Couture has both graced the covers and been centrally featured in Culture Magazine, Fet Erorica and Erotiqxink to name but a few and continues to be courted by the fashion press internationally.
Glamnoir Couture will be exclusively attending this year’s Torture Garden LA as a fashion show sponsor showcasing all the most daring pieces.
Glamnoir Couture is for those who survive outside the mainstream and yearn for clothes that reflect their darkest desires.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
I’m my most happy when I am being creative, there’s something about creating something that gives you a sense of freedom and satisfaction at the same time. It’s like you stepped into another world or headspace and It makes me feel for-filled.
My dogs make me happy too, I have a pekingese called Zen and a pug called Metta, they are my heart and soul.
My dogs are my children, they are so precious and only know how to give love and ‘I’m am blessed.
