Life & Work with Leoren Davis

Today we’d like to introduce you to Leoren Davis.

Hi Leoren, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I got into music when I first got into high school. I wanted to join the drumline in band after watching the movie drumline the summer after 8th grade. Couple of years later, I furthered my musical skills and got into music production.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This journey has for sure been a rough one! Though, it has also been an enjoyable one. I have learned alot about myself being more so in the freelance world. I was so used to structure from being in school and being raised by parents that always told me to get a job and things. I never knocked the idea. Just wasn’t for me which has been a struggle in itself trying to maintain.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I go by Oh Gosh Leotus and I’m mostly known for my music production. I primarily do hip hop but also versatile in other genres when it comes to production. I’m most proud of my progression as a musician and producer. It’s crazy to me to see how far I’ve come.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I’m the type of person that usually goes with the wind. But now that I’ve learned how this industry works (kinda), I see myself getting more consistent placements and becoming a household name and influencer in the producer community.
