Rising Stars: Meet Alexis & Gustavo Fonseca

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexis & Gustavo Fonseca.

Hi Alexis & Gustavo, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Our journey with the martial art started in Hawaii in the late 2000’s. Shortly after, we made a move to Southern California to dedicate ourself’s fully to the sport.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Though there have many challenges along the way… training full time with dedication to anything can be challenging. we’ve been fortunate to surround ourself’s by incredible individuals helping us towards our goals

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Over the past decade, we immersed our selfs fully to competition. Spending much of our day dedicated to training. We’ve competed all order the world earning multiple titles including world titles in 2017. Having much exposer to world-class instruction and knowledge, we’re fully dedicated to teaching jiu jitsu to students of all ages & skill levels. Our passion for helping others has played a huge role for us as instructors, being our strongest quality.

Bigger then jiu jitsu is our passion for life. Surrounding ourself’s around cultured individuals and those who render service.
