Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenya Reynolds.

Jenya, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My journey started after I was diagnosed with Pcos and pre-diabetes. The doctor didn’t tell me much and prescribed me birth control and a few other medications. I knew right away that I did not want to take any medications so being desperate for alternatives, I began to search the internet for other remedies.

I discovered many articles speaking of a few different herbs that would be helpful to help me in my healing so dug deep into extensive research. I was so excited to start my natural healing journey I searched for herb stores near me and luckily, I found one not too far away from where I live. When I went to the herb store, it was literally like a gallery full of herbs in awe it was I began to pick up all of the herbs I had researched to go home to blend into a herbal tea. I’m a very open and transparent person so I began to share my personal healing journey via Facebook and Instagram but I never looked at it as a business for me it was just a part of my personal life that I choose to share. The more I shared the more people inquired the more I testified about how the herbs were assisting in my healing the more people from all over came to me for remedies and asked me to create custom blends for them. The more I created the more people would come to me and tell me how the herbs were helping them as well. I’ve always had a passion to help people. And herbal remedies seemed to be something that I was able to do naturally and it was something that I loved to do. Blending herbs was like a form of therapy for me. The aroma of the herbs had a way of soothing me before even putting them into my body. From there is where my business Innerstand Herbs and healing was birthed.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No! It has not been smooth at all actually!!! There was days when business was great and then there was several weeks where business was stagnant. Many days I wanted to throw in the towel, many days I cried and felt invalid. But in those moments, I was able to learn on my close friends one of them being my friend Jazmine Danielle (owner of Queendom Cultivation) we would come together, she would help be strategize, she would allow me to vent and just listen, I invested in her growth for greatness program (highly recommend) and learned a lot of helping things that helped me better my business. In those low moments, I always reminded myself of why I started it was never about the money it was always about my heart to help and that’s honestly what keeps me going and why I never gave up.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
My business Innerstand Healing and Herbs is a herbal tea business. I specialize in creating custom tea blends that assist in eliminating dis-ease from the body. I also offer whole body analysis consultations that are intended for those who are dealing with more serious health issues like cancer, fibroids, autoimmune diseases, etc. I also offer herbal infused oils, tinctures, salves, and herbal bath salts. I am most known for my herbal teas everyone loves them even children! One thing I am proud of is the positive feedback I get from each of my products. People take them and they actually see great results, I mean they are eliminating fibroids, they are recovering from cancer, they are maintaining their pcos, and sooo much more it’s such a humbling and honoring thing. What sets me apart from others is that I make sure that each of my blends are Taylor-made on an individual basis and I do not duplicate. I believe that not everything works for everyone so each person that I work with get a custom blend Taylor made just for them.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I plan to travel the world to research herbs from different countries. I want to go out to the jungle and the Amazon and get to familiar with herbs that are not accessible to me here in the states. I also want to be a travel herbalist that can travel the world and help those who are dealing with terminal illnesses heal naturally through herbal remedies.
