Today we’d like to introduce you to Diana Verduzco.

Hi Diana, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I am so excited to introduce myself! Most people know me as The Divine Designer. I’ve always known I was going to be a designer -I used to point out architecture to my parents when I was a little girl and stay home weekends to rearrange the furniture. As soon as I graduated high school, I did an accelerated certification program for Interior Design at Moorpark College and then got my Bachelor’s in Business from Cal Lu, where I studied art, architecture and design abroad in Paris.

Upon returning to California, I became the design assistant for a prominent design/build firm in Calabasas and then became one of the first in-house designers for Restoration Hardware, where I worked for almost four years. At RH, I spearheaded projects for pro athletes, musicians, celebs and other VIPs. At age 25, I decided to quit RH and launch my own company (DV Design). I had a highly successful first year, and my client feedback was unanimous – I was told at the end of each project that they felt I had changed more than their space… I had changed them as a person. This realization inspired me to become an internationally certified Feng Shui practitioner and re-brand my business into what it now is today. Incorporating the passions I used to pursue after work, such as yoga, meditation, sound healing and various other sacred modalities including modern-day Feng Shui, I launched Divine Design into the world, calling myself The Divine Designer. It has now been four years of designing homes as The Divine Designer, where the entire process, concepts and selections are rooted in spirituality – all with the goal of helping you Find Your Om at home.

I have designed 75 homes thus far, all of which were created to connect the homeowner to their space. My process has evolved over the years and is now quite intricate. I am the only spiritually-focused Interior Designer in Los Angeles who is doing what I’m doing. I offer expert guidance in mantra meditation, the psychology of color, Ayurvedic practices, the numerology of your address, designing for your zodiac sign, plant healing, crystal healing, and much more in order to create harmonic, holistic homes. I am The Divine Designer, a residential Interior/Exterior Designer, Feng Shui Practitioner, and High-Vibrational Expert, and I am on a soul mission to raise the vibration of the planet – starting with you and your home.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The hardest part of being an entrepreneur is never “clocking out”. I’ve had to cultivate a healthy, high-vibe schedule for myself, and it’s taken many years and many employees to achieve the alignment that I have now. Making sure I fill my cup and prioritize my own mental, physical and spiritual well-being has been pivotal in me being able to be a lightworker for others.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am most proud of becoming a recognized leader in the spiritually-based design space as I spearhead the evolution of this industry into a new realm of impact and influence. My design style can be described as refined coastal modern: light, bright and divine – with an emphasis on intentional symmetry, cohesion and flow, and a neutral yet textured palette for those boho vibes. I now specialize in home design for celebrities, VIPs and high net-worth individuals.

How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
I am currently at capacity and have a waitlist until mid-2021. I offer comprehensive design services, from construction documents for contractors to 3D renderings, design selection packages, project management, home styling and much more – therefore projects can take upwards of a year depending on the scope. In the interim, I have just launched my podcast, “Om at Home with The Divine Designer”, where I’ll be talking about all things intuitive design, spirituality, Feng Shui and more. I am highly active on social media, and people can follow me @TheDivineDesigner across various platforms, but mainly Instagram and TikTok. I also do some meet & greet events at my completed projects for anyone who wants to meet me in person and chat about design. Lastly, I do offer shadow sessions where those interested in becoming an interior designer/ realtor/ spiritually-focused person can follow/shadow me for a VIP day together.
