Today we’d like to introduce you to Drea Dominique.
Hi Drea, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I first entered the industry being a music video model, modeling and magazines. I’ve appeared in music videos for several high-profile artists: Snoop Dogg, The Dream, Baby Bash, and Robin Thicke. Shortly after that, I did reality TV. I was on the show bad girls club Mexico. Now I’m transitioning from TV to music. I started my project two years ago, and I finally launched my first Album, Drea’s Dominique Toy Box on February 18.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My biggest challenge has been myself. I’ve always had a passion for music but struggled with my confidence. I’ve worked very hard at developing my craft and getting comfortable in my skin to embrace creating my music fully.

On top of being an up-and-coming artist, I also have my own business. My company is Heart Space By Drea. I have a lash and lipstick line. 4 styles of lashes, and four styles of lipsticks. I also have t-shirts and hoodies with pictures of me available on my website DreaDominique.com.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Music is my passion and can always put a smile on my face, but most of all, feeling content in life brings me happiness. Having a solid circle. Fridge full, house clean, smell good candles burning, with good music playing. That has to be my most happy time.
