Armen, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I’ve always had an interest in fashion and interior design. I started in the wholesale side and then made my switch to the retail side with my very first retail shop in Studio City 15 years ago. Inspired from my travels around the world and immersing in different cultures. I love seeing people take chances and willing to try something different. I want my clients to feel good with the unique eyewear they wear. I strive to stand out and make my clients stand out! Our mission is to bring Luxury and Independent Eyewear to our clients. We are proud to support independent brands across the globe & recently started designing my own “Armen K” Eyewear collection.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
There’s always obstacles in anything you do, I always keep the business going by working harder with the highs and the lows & thinking outside the box.

We are a passionate eyewear retailer with over 15 years’ experience. Our mission is to bring Luxury and Independent Eyewear to our clients. We are proud to support independent brands across the globe.
Always looking ahead. We are a full-service eyewear boutique that offers eye exams too. We have an Optometrist on site and our in-house lab focused on manufacturing ultra-premium quality lenses for the luxury eyewear market. With perfect customer service, highly skilled artisans, and a superb quality product we can keep up with our client’s demands.
Our newly remodeled luxury Eyewear boutique along with our Optometrist, Dr. Ruth Lipson, and high-end lab on site keeps us one step ahead of the rest of the competition.
The buzz in Studio City over the last few years has brought a new crowd who appreciate unique Eyewear that fits everyone’s lifestyle.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Seeing the final product when my clients come to pick up their glasses seeing them so happy and excited. At times, I will get calls and emails afterwards to thank me because they keep getting compliments. This is what success means to me to keep my loyal clients happy.
After all for me Eyewear is like a piece of art… it’s the first thing people see on someone’s face. This is what I strive for.
