Meet Robert Shearn III

Today we’d like to introduce you to Robert Shearn III.

Robert, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started as a Nude and Costumed Figure Model for Artists and Art Schools. It was a great way for me to be connected to art and naturism at the same time. Numerous Artists featured me in Art Galleries. With consistency, I worked with photographers for calendars, magazines and coffee table books. In 2010, I had the opportunity to be on the film set of Limitless to do a scene in the movie with Bradley Cooper.

Has it been a smooth road?
I never had no special favors come my way. So it hasn’t been smooth or easy during my journey in the Acting and Modeling industry. Age, body build and race had been a factor for making it more challenging. As well as not fitting into a box. I was once rejected from a project because of having a muscular build. Due to those obstacles, there is less opportunities in the industry even when there is a great economy. During my Journey in films and modeling, I also was an Entrepreneur as a Property Manager, managing properties I owned to Tennants. I chose to be a blessing to Tennants in ways that other Landlords don’t. Because of being understanding about life struggles, I was taken advantage of. Some people just don’t appreciate kindness when they receive it. Which made life even more challenging for me and was a distraction from my focus. I kept my strength through it all to keep going to reach my goals that I set for Modeling and Acting.

We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I’m a multifaceted talent who is an Actor, Model, Film Director and Producer.

I’m known for Police Officer in For My Man, ATF Special Agent in Thou Shalt Not on TVOne; Louis Armstrong in Misteries at the Museum on Travel Channel, I’m a Patient on the TV show My Feet Are Killing Me episode 4 on TLC that revealed my webb toes and being a long term Nudist. My segment of My Feet Are Killing Me was also featured on Celebrity Watch Party episode 5 on Fox TV with Ravin Symone, Tyra Banks, Master P, Romeo, Lindsay Lohan, Reggie Bush, Curtis Stone, Kelly, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne.

I’m most proud of being an Actor as Louis Armstrong. It was an honor to play Louis Armstrong, nicknamed “Satchmo” on Misteries At The Museum on Travel Channel. Louis Armstrong was an American trumpeter, composer, vocalist, and actor who was one of the most influential entertainers in the world. With hits like “What A Wonderful World” and “Hello Dolly”. Louis Armstrong is also known as a Civil Rights Activist and for integrating schools in Little Rock, AR.

I’m a Model for the Health Ad campaign for Prep medicine at www.phillykeeponloving.com. I’m the first African American Contestant for Mr Mature America Pageant that was Hosted by the Legendary Actress Barbara Eden, Star of I Dream Of Jeannie TV Show. I’m featured in “Brooklyn In the Summer” music video by Grammy Nominated Singer Aloe Blacc.

I attended acting classes at Walnut Street Theatre Acting School and Philadelphia Academy of Fine Arts, both in Philadelphia PA.

What sets me apart from the others is being a versatile artist that’s open to new and different things.
