Meet Hannah Zlomke

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Zlomke.

Hannah, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I have been very active all my life. Came from a very active family in Wisconsin, competed in different sports, and dance activities. Was a mountain bike racer for five years then switched to training in dance seriously. Now I am a dancer, dance on my roller skates, and personal trainer. I teach and coach people in each of these activities.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Not really I grew up kinda behind cause we didn’t have a lot of money. I have had to really achieve what I want by getting it all on my own will. My family is super supportive and loving but were in survival mode just trying to get food on the table & pay bills. I also lost my brother in my early 20’s which is why I started to pursue dance more seriously I wanted to do something that I really loved and now I look back now and see how it was such a huge part of my healing process during that time. My struggles have only made me stronger as I walk through them and heal, learn, & grow from them.

We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I am a personal trainer, dancer, commercial actress, & dance on my roller skates. I love movement & uplifting & empowering people through movement. I teach & train people who are interested in learning how to move & groove or who are seeking to have accountability when it comes to their health. I do get work here and there in the industry I have worked on commercials, music videos, TV shows, & live shows. I think what sets me apart is my passion & love for what I do & my intention to uplift & empower people through movement.

What were you like growing up?
I was super silly, loved to do fun activities, go on adventures climb trees double ride on bikes with brothers, friends, and be wild. Lol! I loved hanging with the friends. I liked school mostly for the people interaction. Subjects I liked were writing, art, and gym. A fun little fact I was voted both homecoming and prom queen my senior year.
