Today we’d like to introduce you to Liliana Blake.

Liliana, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started out as a makeup artist in the high end fashion industry and I did that for 5 years. I then decided to take a trip to Europe and that is where my Skin Care career began. I enrolled at the European beauty school and then came back to California and became a licensed Esthetician. In 1985 opened up Lilese Skin Care and now over 30 years later we are still here.

Has it been a smooth road?
Fortunately, it has always been a smooth road. Since the day we opened, the shop has always excelled. We have an amazing clientele base and they have been incredibly loyal throughout the years.

Lilese Skin Care is a high end Skin Care Salon nezzeled in Pacific Palisades. We specialize in facials and waxing and are specifically know for our speed waxing technique, as well as our relaxing results-oriented facials. We are most proud that we have been able to serve our community for over 30 years.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I feel like LA is the best location for our business because the people here are so focused on their health and wellness, which our business goes hand in hand with. People know now a days are learning the importance of taking care of themselves and their skin.

This city offers so many opportunities for freelance work, however the market is so saturated it can be easy to get discouraged at first. That being said, if you are passionate about this business you can succeeded anywhere.
