Today we’d like to introduce you to Jitsu Gaiden.
Rapper and Jiu-Jitsu Martial Artist Jitsu Gaiden is as unforgettable as his moniker. His stage name derives from the Japanese words for ‘technique’ and ‘story’ both of which accent his unique persona and lyrical methodology. Jitsu Gaiden’s originality and energy are becoming a staple part of Los Angeles (LA) and Nashville (TN) Hip-Hop Communities. His lighthearted lifestyle, effortless flow, and rigorous work ethic have gained him a loyal fan base for both his music and his Frequent Flyers Lifestyle wave.
Gaiden decided to take his stage name more seriously by learning the art of Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Which led Gaiden to win his first and second place medal in the 2018 NAGA Martial Arts Competition.
He released his first album, “The Fast Life”, in 2014 while simultaneously being a student at Middle Tennessee State University, a collegiate Division one football player, and an active member of the prestigious Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated. After the success of his music, he decided to pursue a career in the industry more seriously. Gaiden withdrew from college and moved to Los Angeles, California.
Gaiden’s work ethic and dedication has gained him numerous ventures and high-energy performances in major cities throughout the United States. He has had the opportunity to showcase his talent in front of the audiences of Riff-Raff, The Ying Yang Twins, Roscoe Dash and 50 Cent at V Live. His music and artistry have made its way onto major Hip-Hop blogs such as Hip-Hop Weekly, This is 50, and World Star Hip Hop and more.
Since, Jitsu has been intermittently releasing albums, mixtapes, and music videos. Along with his music, Gaiden has released a plethora of music videos reaching over 400,000 YouTube views. His goal is to provide his fan base with meaningful and creative content to inspire others.
Gaiden’s release of his mixtape titled “Timeless Hydroponic Chamber”, earlier this year on 4/20 has been a major success.
Jitsu Gaiden believes that in life oneself should fulfill their true purpose. He exemplifies this with his Frequent Flyers Lifestyle movement by encouraging others to follow their dreams.
Has it been a smooth road?
Nothing in life is easy; you will always have challenges. The difference between a winner and a failure is that the winner decided to keep aiming for their dreams and the failure quit on them. But the main struggle has been investing in the right areas of my career but as time goes by I’ve been learning and making key moves.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Frequent Flyers Lifestyle – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
In the Frequent Flyers camp, you can expect some good music and good vibes. With Frequent Flyers, I want to promote good energy and really deliver a positive input on life to all the people that tap in with us. We are still growing and what sets us apart is that the Lifestyle adapts to the environment but the ethics stay righteous.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I like best that weed is legal in California. The benefits of legalized marijuana is definitely a positive impact on the city. The things that I least like is the homeless and no public restrooms problem. We definitely need to clean LA.
