Meet Heather Guercio & Michelle Valentine of DaMoor’s Feed & Tack in Glendale and Burbank

Today we’d like to introduce you to Heather Guercio & Michelle Valentine.

Heather Guercio & Michelle Valentine, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
We started out in 1987 as a family run business, in 2010 we purchased the business from our father. We now run the business together and pride ourselves on our customer service and friendly staff.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It was a huge eye opener realizing the amount of time and work that goes into running a small business. However, we worked together and were able to bumpy road as a team.

Please tell us about DaMoor’s Feed & Tack.
We are a family run Feed & Tack store that delivers six days a week to places such as Moorpark, Brentwood, Pasadena, Santa Clarita and many more. We also specialize in equestrian clothing, custom Italian riding boots, and leather goods. We are also known for our quality and consistency of hay, shavings, and feed. We are most proud of our relationships with our customers that we have built over the years. Our goal is to make you feel a part of the family the minute you walk through the door.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If we had to start over we would embrace the chaos because at the end of the day it doesn’t matter as long as you love what you do.
