Meet Cece Lucero-Trask and Tuesday Grant of Not Spicy Enough in Hollywood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Not Spicy Enough’s Cece Lucero-Trask and Tuesday Grant.

Cece and Tuesday, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
We met in college at the University of Southern California as members of the sketch comedy troupe, The Suspenders, and we loved working together! We also took a class together on creating sketch comedy for YouTube. After graduating, we decided that we wanted to continue to make sketches and saw making videos as our best outlet.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
There are always challenges when it comes to any creative endeavor worth doing. We are constantly working hard to write, direct, act, produce and edit these videos, but we love working together and creating comedy!

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Not Spicy Enough – what should we know?
We focus mainly on making parodies, but we like to play fast and loose with the term, we really just want to make content that we think is funny and can hopefully bring a laugh to someone’s day. We’ve released a few videos since starting Not Spicy Enough in late 2018, including a parody of HGTV’s Fixer Upper: Watch the Fixer Upper Parody here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HLJtrSNU8Dg&t=6s

A huge thank you to our parents for their endless support! Our professors at USC, like John DeMita and Rob Adler, were wonderful mentors that gave us the space and guidance to work on our craft.
