Ross, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Following the financial crisis of 2008, the world was in need of a new type of financial firm that they could truly trust again. That is when Danilo Kawasaki and myself decided to pledge our new business to ensure that we always have our clients best interest in mind. This is also the mentality that we instill in every one of our advisors and corporate staff.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Every business has its good and bad days, but since we are on the forefront and choice to be leaders in our industry, there are definitely regulations that hinder us from changing the industry for the better at the pace that is necessary to keep up with peoples lives.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Gerber Kawasaki Wealth and Investment Management – what should we know?
Our business specializes in financial planning and wealth management/building. As we do work with a strong list of high net worth clients, we also believe that professional wealth building should be available for everyone and not just the wealthy.
Most firms will not speak to a person with less than $500,000 in investable assets, but we work with everyone, no minimums. We pride ourselves to have some of the brightest minds in the industry as financial advisors that are still in their prime years so they are able to grow with our clients and build more than just a working relationship with them.
