Meet Storm Santos in Downtown Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Storm Santos.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Storm. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Well, I grew up in Los Angeles. I always thought playing music was the concrete path I was supposed to be on. I did do the whole band/touring thing but after a while, I was just kinda burnt out. After all that, I started working on YouTube and found my footing in photography there. I always sort of had a camera with me my whole life but it kind of always played second to my guitar. After I realized that creating images was my real passion, it dived in full force. After leaving YouTube, I knew where I wanted to go career-wise.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I feel like no real path as an artist in Los Angeles is smooth. There have been tons of people in the past that have either loved or hated what I’ve done. That’s the beauty of art, it’s subjective. My advice is to stick to your voice and you will somehow find your stage!

Please tell us about Storm Santos.
I am a celebrity photographer here in Los Angeles. I try to make people’s personality shine through images especially when you see a lot of these folks in different molded roles every day. I really love showing who they are.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
I think one of my favorite memories growing up was when a friend dared me to jump this huge hill on my bike. I broke my ankle. That was fun for a 9-year-old.
