Community Highlights: Meet Taylor Stewart of Sevyn Beauty

Today we’d like to introduce you to Taylor Stewart.

Hi Taylor, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Sevyn was born during a really transformative chapter of my life. Becoming a mother changed the way I viewed beauty, confidence, and even myself. I wanted to create something that felt feminine, luxurious, and intentional, a brand that represented softness, self-care, and empowerment all at once.

The brand is named after my daughter, Sevyn, who became my biggest inspiration and the reason I started building something of my own. What began as an idea for a lip oil quickly turned into a vision for a beauty brand rooted in confidence, femininity, and modern luxury.

I spent months researching formulations, branding, packaging, and every small detail because I wanted the experience to feel elevated from the moment someone receives the product. As a young mother and entrepreneur, balancing both worlds hasn’t always been easy, but building Sevyn has become a reflection of resilience, growth, and creativity for me.

My goal is to create products that make women feel beautiful, confident, and taken care of — while also showing my daughter what’s possible when you believe in your vision and keep going, even during uncertain seasons of life.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. One of the biggest challenges has been balancing motherhood and entrepreneurship at the same time. Building a brand from the ground up while raising a young daughter has required a lot of patience, sacrifice, and resilience.

There were moments where I questioned myself, struggled with self-doubt, or felt overwhelmed trying to manage every aspect of the business on my own. From product development and branding to content creation and marketing. As a small business owner, especially in the beauty industry, there’s also pressure to constantly evolve and stand out in a very competitive space.

Another challenge was learning everything firsthand. I spent countless hours researching formulations, packaging, compliance, shipping, and branding because I wanted every detail of Sevyn to feel intentional and high quality.

But every obstacle has taught me something valuable. In a way, those challenges helped shape the brand into what it is today. They pushed me to become more confident, creative, and disciplined, not only as a business owner, but as a woman and a mother.

As you know, we’re big fans of Sevyn Beauty. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
What sets Sevyn Beauty apart is the meaning behind it. The brand was inspired by my daughter, Sevyn, and built during one of the most transformative periods of my life. Because of that, the brand carries a deeper message about confidence, softness, resilience, and embracing femininity unapologetically.

I’ve always been passionate about beauty, but I wanted to create products that feel more than just trendy. I wanted the experience to feel luxurious while still being wearable and approachable for everyday women. Our lip oils were carefully developed to provide hydration, comfort, and a glass-like shine without feeling heavy or sticky.

One thing I’m especially proud of is building the brand independently from the ground up while balancing motherhood and entrepreneurship. Every campaign, visual, formula decision, and branding detail has been intentional and hands-on.

As Sevyn Beauty continues to grow, my vision is to expand into a full lifestyle beauty brand that empowers women to feel beautiful, confident, and elevated in their everyday lives.

How do you define success?
To me, success is about creating a life that feels meaningful and aligned with who you truly are. Of course accomplishments and growth matter, but I believe real success is being able to build something with purpose while still staying grounded in the people and values that matter most to you. As a mother and entrepreneur, my definition of success has evolved a lot. Success is no longer just about recognition or financial goals, it’s about creating stability, freedom, and a legacy for my daughter while doing something I genuinely love.
