Check Out Lina Tullgren’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lina Tullgren.

Hi lina, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’m a musician and craniosacral bodyworker. I spent the bulk of my twenties as a touring musician performing songs I wrote and using performance as a way to engage with my own inner world and the divine. After burning myself out creatively and emotionally, I decided that becoming famous or being a full time musician was a fruitless cause and that I was better suited to help the world in whatever small way I can. I do think that craniosacral work has the capacity to end war. I’m going to college right now. so I can become a psychoanalyst in a decade or so. I have a dog and live in a quieter life. I write some poems and songs sometimes too.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Smooth doesn’t give me much to go on. I prefer complications because they always have something to teach me.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I write songs and play violin. I have released a number of albums over the years working in both song format and experimental drone work.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I don’t really believe in it. I try to take care of everyone around me, take accountability when I’ve done wrong, ask the universe for help when I need it. Usually, they listen and give me something. It usually isn’t what I want but it’s usually what I need.
