Rising Stars: Meet Allison Burns Cooper of Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Allison Burns Cooper.

Hi Allison, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Born in New York always having had alifelong passion for design as
Fueled by my mother. I was inspired by the creative legacy of her family—a grandfather who crafted exquisite lace for high-end fashion houses and a mother who filled our home with the art of sewing. From an early age, I immersed myself in this world, learning to transform fabric and thread into unique expressions of style.

What began with crafting custom bags in my living room has grown into a brand built on passion and genuine creativity. My cult-favorite designs artfully blend a modern edge with refined sophistication, each piece infused with character, soul, and a nod to my roots.

In 2024, Allison brought the Faithfull back—and dropped a full line for all genders. It marked a fresh era, born from loss and love. Her mother, muse, and biggest fan passed that year, and Allison honored her with the Joan Bag—a design full of heart and legacy. It sold out fast, charged with the same love Allison pours into everything she makes.

Now based in the Valley she’s still fueled by music, art, and a deep love for shaking things up. Her motto?

“Look good. Feel good. Break the rules.”

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
In 2009 I took a hiatus from designing my own bags and set out on a path of rediscovery. I needed to find my heart and my voice again.
After years of owning a large company, I felt like I had lost it.
It wasn’t till 2024 when I really felt like my heart was back in it again. Now I’m happier than ever creating designs that I love.
“If you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life”

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I definitely view myself as a risk taker. I have been that way for many years thanks to my mother‘s guidance

The biggest risk I took was shutting down my company in 2009 to reevaluate my creativity and take care of myself. I’m very proud of that decision and I love where I’m at today.
