Today we’d like to introduce you to Pardise Moeini.
Hi Pardise, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
For over a decade, I took the traditional “safe” route.
I climbed the corporate ladder from an entry-level hourly role to a VP-level consultant position making more money than I ever thought possible. On paper, I had everything figured out. But internally, I was miserable. The daily anxiety, living for weekends, counting down to PTO, and the Sunday Scaries became my normal.
Still, I stayed because it felt safe. The steady income, health insurance, and lifestyle were hard to walk away from. I was never really a risk taker.
Then in 2024, the decision was made for me.
One quick call with my manager and within five minutes, the career I had spent years building was over due to departmental layoffs.
Oddly enough, I wasn’t devastated.
I was relieved.
It was the push I needed to finally go all in on something I genuinely loved: capturing memories for others.
For years, I had already become the go-to person for friends and family whenever they needed someone to capture birthdays, engagements, baby showers, graduations, and special moments. What started organically eventually became REEL LOVE MEDIA, a wedding and event content creation company based in Southern California and available for destination weddings and events.
I’m still in disbelief that sometimes the thing we fear most ends up becoming the thing that changes our lives for the better.
Now, instead of dreading Mondays, I get to spend my time capturing some of the happiest moments in people’s lives and I genuinely couldn’t be more grateful for every couple and family who trusts me to be part of it.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Building something from scratch has been one of the most rewarding experiences, but it has also come with a lot of challenges and growing pains along the way. I do not think any business truly happens overnight, especially when you are rebuilding and learning an entirely new industry at the same time.
One of the biggest challenges has honestly been learning patience. I’m naturally a perfectionist, so I had to learn to stop overthinking every little detail and just start. Building a business takes time, consistency, and a lot of trial and error behind the scenes that people do not always see.
There is also the reality of wearing every hat yourself especially in the beginning. One minute I’m filming content, the next I’m editing, answering inquiries, networking, working on marketing, or trying to figure out the business side of things. It can be overwhelming at times, but it has also been one of the most rewarding experiences because for the first time, I feel genuinely aligned with what I’m doing.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m the founder of REEL LOVE MEDIA, a wedding and event content creation company focused on capturing the real moments that often happen in between everything else. I specialize in creating social media-ready content with a fast turnaround so couples can relive their day almost immediately.
What really sets me apart is how observant I am. I’m a huge empath and very aware of my surroundings, which helps me notice emotions, reactions, and little moments many others might miss. I think that’s why my content feels so personal and natural instead of overly posed or forced.
My corporate background also became an unexpected strength in this industry. It taught me how to work with all kinds of personalities, adapt quickly, and make people feel comfortable in high energy environments.
What I’m most proud of is building something that genuinely feels aligned with who I am while creating memories people get emotionally attached to for years to come.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I think one of the most important qualities in this work is being able to make people feel comfortable while also being fully present. A lot of people are not used to being on camera, so creating an environment that feels easy, natural, and low pressure makes a huge difference in the final content.
I also pay a lot of attention to the little details and moments happening throughout the day because those are usually the moments people end up caring about the most later on. My goal is always to capture content in a way that feels authentic to the people and the energy of the event rather than overly staged or forced.
