Rising Stars: Meet William Hobbs IV of Miami

Today we’d like to introduce you to William Hobbs IV.

Hi William, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started by journey by playing guitar. Eventually I was introduced to my first DAW (GarageBand) and that sparked my interest in production. Shortly after I obtained Ableton and after that I obtained FL studio. From there I begin producing for creatives in my area and networking through social media. I remained consistent and treated it like a job. All of these factors helped build my brand today.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has been anything but smooth. A majority of problems creators with no management have is closing deals and obtaining proper credit for their work(s).

I am a music producer, music executive and an artist. I specialize in music production and artist development. I am known for my music production. I am proud to be apart of great compositions that move people and resonate with listeners. What separates me from others is the passion that I have for the craft and my attention to detail.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Consistency. I don’t take No for an answer. I always strive to refine my work until it reaches the highest quality possible.
