Hidden Gems: Meet Rania Chami of The Medi Lifestyle

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rania Chami.

Hi Rania, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey really began when I moved from Lebanon to the United States in 2004. Like many immigrants, I experienced a major culture shock—especially around lifestyle, food, and the pace of everyday life. I noticed how different eating habits, stress levels, and routines could deeply impact health and well-being. That experience sparked my passion for helping people learn how to eat and live better, while bringing awareness to the benefits of the Mediterranean way of life I grew up with.
That passion eventually led me into the health and wellness field. I became a Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach and studied through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I deepened my knowledge of nutrition, behavior change, and holistic wellness. Over time, I also expanded into life coaching and advanced coaching methodologies through Next Level Human.
Today, through my brand The Medi Lifestyle, I help women—especially those navigating stress, hormonal changes, and major life transitions—feel healthier, calmer, and more in control through Mediterranean lifestyle principles, mindset work, and sustainable habits. What started as my own adjustment to a new culture became a mission to help others thrive.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely has not been a completely smooth road, and honestly, many of the challenges I faced are what shaped me into the person and coach I am today.
There was a period in my life where I was married and didn’t feel fully encouraged to pursue my own growth, career ambitions, or personal development. That can make it difficult to build confidence and trust your own voice. After that chapter ended, I found myself navigating life in a very different way—being on my own for the first time in a while and trying to rebuild and redefine myself.
At the same time, I was stepping into entrepreneurship without really knowing what it meant to be a solopreneur. I had to learn everything from scratch—how to build a business, market myself, manage finances, create structure, and stay motivated through uncertainty. There wasn’t a clear roadmap, so much of it was trial, error, and resilience.
Looking back, those struggles taught me independence, strength, adaptability, and compassion. They also gave me a deep understanding of what many women go through when they feel stuck, unsupported, or are trying to start over. That lived experience is a big part of why I’m so passionate about helping women build healthier, more empowered lives today.

We’ve been impressed with The Medi Lifestyle, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The Medi Lifestyle is a holistic health and life coaching brand created to help women break free from the patterns, stress, and emotional blocks that keep them feeling stuck. My work goes beyond nutrition—I help women navigate repeated obstacles, overwhelm, hormonal shifts, life transitions, and the inner struggles that often hold them back from becoming who they truly want to be.

My approach is rooted in the Mediterranean lifestyle, which is more than a way of eating—it’s a way of living centered around nourishment, balance, movement, connection, and longevity. I combine those principles with mindset coaching, stress management tools, and practical habit change so women can feel healthier, calmer, and more in control.

I specialize in helping women through perimenopause, menopause, divorce, burnout, midlife transitions, and seasons of reinvention. Many women come to me knowing they want more for themselves, but feeling trapped in old cycles. My role is to help them rebuild confidence, gain clarity, and create lasting change.

What sets The Medi Lifestyle apart is that I focus on both outer wellness and inner transformation. I believe women don’t just need another plan—they need support, accountability, and a safe space to grow. Community and empowerment are a big part of my mission.

I’m also proud to offer my new coaching packages, including She Rises, a 3-month one-on-one coaching experience, and The New Her, a 6-month deeper transformation program designed for women ready to fully step into their next chapter. Both programs combine coaching, wellness strategies, and personalized support to help women truly thrive

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
Absolutely. I believe growth comes from staying curious and continuing to learn, both personally and professionally. I’m always exploring resources that help me become a better coach, business owner, and person.
For books, I’ve found a lot of value in different women hormone books – too many to list. Also Atomic Habits because it reinforces how small consistent actions create lasting transformation—something I teach often with clients. I also appreciate the work of Brené Brown, especially around vulnerability, courage, and self-worth, which are themes many women need support with.
For podcasts, I enjoy Huberman Lab, Diary of a CEO, Next Level Human and The School of Greatness as well as the Mel Robbins Podcast. They all provide insights on health, behavior, performance, and conversations around emotional growth and human connection.
I also stay connected to Mediterranean lifestyle principles through cooking, movement, spending time outdoors, and prioritizing community and relationships. Sometimes the best “resource” is simply living what I teach—slowing down, nourishing yourself well, and staying connected to what matters most.
Ultimately, I believe learning never stops. The more I grow, the more I’m able to guide other women through their own transformation with empathy, wisdom, and practical tools.
