Meet Salvatore Cassato of Lake Bluff

Today we’d like to introduce you to Salvatore Cassato.

Hi Salvatore, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I began screen printing for bands I played for to make some money on tour. Then i started working in print shops when i wasn’t on tour. Then i stopped touring and opened my own print shop as a way to stay tonnected to my road dog homies, near and far.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Starting a business is reward and difficult, just like everyon on the dang planet has said. Being slow after a huge holiday rush gave me whip lash. Now i no that when we’re “slow” that means its time to turn directions and focus on growth, scale, and customer retention.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a customer service print shop. I love getting a rush order set up and knocked out and delivered to a venue with a quick turn around. its how i get to be a hero.
