Meet Laily Fogel of Ever Club

Today we’d like to introduce you to Laily Fogel.

Hi Laily, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I spent over a decade living in New York City, where I built and ran a boutique PR and marketing agency focused on fashion and beauty brands. My work brought me to cities like London, Paris, and Los Angeles regularly, collaborating with clients on brand strategy, launches, and creative direction. That chapter really shaped my eye for detail, storytelling, and how to build something that feels both elevated and meaningful.

When my husband and I moved to Orange County, we were craving something different, not just personally, but in terms of community. He had the initial idea to create a “third space” rooted in golf, but from the beginning, we both saw the opportunity to make it so much more than that.

As Creative Director, I was deeply involved in bringing the vision to life. I worked on the interior design, custom furniture design, and millwork, really focusing on creating an environment that felt intentional, warm, and design-forward. It was important to me that every detail contributed to an experience people wanted to stay in, not just pass through.

As the business has evolved, so has my role. Today, I primarily focus on our wellness programming, special events, brand partnerships and activations, as well as community building and marketing. What excites me most is creating experiences that feel new, thoughtful, and genuinely connective. It’s about redefining what a “third space” can be, where people come not just to do one thing, but to stay, engage, and feel part of something.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all, it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. With any startup, there are constant challenges that evolve as the business grows. In the early stages, it was everything from fundraising and bringing the right partners on board, to navigating the complexities of the buildout and making sure every detail of the space came to life the way we envisioned.

Once we opened, a new set of challenges emerged around creating systems that actually support the kind of experience we want to deliver. There’s always something that needs to be solved, and often in real time.

I think what’s unique is that each phase comes with its own set of struggles, but also opportunities to refine and improve. It’s pushed me to be more adaptable, resourceful, and patient, and to stay really focused on the bigger vision even when things feel uncertain day to day.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Ever Club is a modern “third space” designed around the idea that people are craving more than just a place to work out or pass through, they want somewhere to stay, connect, and feel inspired. While we’re rooted in golf, what we’ve built goes far beyond that. It’s really about creating a layered experience that blends wellness, social connection, and design.

We’re known for the way we bring together different elements that don’t traditionally live in the same space. From our golf experience our Pilates concept that will be launching soon, to our wellness programming, events, and brand activations, everything is curated to feel thoughtful, elevated, and community-driven. It’s not transactional, it’s experiential.

What sets us apart is the level of intention behind every detail. From the interiors and custom furniture to the way our programming is designed, everything is meant to create a certain feeling. You can come in for a class or a session, but the goal is that you stay longer, have a coffee, meet someone, attend an event, and feel like you’re part of something.

I’m also especially proud of our restaurant, which is rooted in organic, locally sourced ingredients and is completely seed oil free, something that’s still surprisingly rare. The menu is Asian-inspired and designed to feel both nourishing and elevated, aligning with our overall philosophy of thoughtful, high-quality experiences.

Brand-wise, what I’m most proud of is that we’ve created something that feels distinct. It doesn’t feel like a traditional fitness space, a country club, or a coworking space, but rather a new category that blends all of those in a way that feels relevant to how people want to live today.

What I want people to know is that Ever Club is as much about community as it is about the offering itself. Whether you’re coming for movement, for social connection, or just to spend time in a beautiful, inspiring environment, there’s an openness to it that allows people to engage in their own way. That sense of belonging is really at the core of everything we do.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
One of my favorite childhood memories is spending summers at my grandparents’ home for three months every year. It’s less about one specific moment and more about the feeling of that time, slow, warm, and full of small rituals that felt so special.

I remember the little details so clearly. Every night, my grandmother would pick night-blooming jasmine flowers and place them on my pillow before bed. It’s such a simple gesture, but it made everything feel so intentional and comforting. Those kinds of moments stayed with me, the idea that small details can completely shape how something feels.
