Meet Adriana Lemus Taylor of Topanga

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adriana Lemus Taylor.

Hi Adriana, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m from Guatemala, I moved to Topanga 26 years ago and i knew I had a gift for cooking, I stated my taco business 2019 out of struggles , single mom figuring out how to take care of my kids , I followed my love and passion for , cooking, community and spreading , good vibes , my Guatemalan and Mexican backgrounds and culture through my food , I love side of the street vendors , my heart is with the people on the side of the road ,
I have been blessed to run my business here in Topanga and I live serving my community our Organic food

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Nothing is easy , specially when you running a business as a single mom, after 4 years we couldn’t run our stand and the whole community with 24 hours helped with a go fond to get a food truck , for me was so beautiful to see how one taco stand can mean so much and people wanted us to keep going and doing what we do , in 2022 I have met my husband and now we both run it together, is a blessing because now my kids are old enough to help out , best feeling ever

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
We specialize in Organic healthier options of street Mexican/Guatemalan style food , we love our community, we are proud of bringing people together with our food , our food is street style but we are cleaner, feel good food , our hand made tortillas definitely made us a special
Spot , we also in multiple occasions we give back to our community and our fist responders after the fires

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
That if you do things from heart things will work out , love and light always wins , you will attract the right people to support your business
