Taz, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My name is Taz Tikoon — host of The TazMania Show, creator of Tazzies Baddies, and a brand influencer.

I’ve had the opportunity to work with brands and platforms including Disney, Revolt TV, Vibe Magazine, Viacom, Sony Pictures, Black Girl Sunscreen, and The Marathon Clothing.

I recently released my latest album, By the Bar Vol. 2 — a project focused purely on lyricism, featuring all bars with no hooks and no features.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Na it hasn’t been a smooth road at all. I’ve been my biggest obstacle and challenge. I had to get out of my head and take accountability for me being in my own way. I also had to deal with letting go of people and things that no longer served me.

I specialize in creating content and storytelling.

I’m known for hosting, coaching, and being a brand influencer.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I like the weather, trails, beaches, mountains, and matcha.

I dislike the traffic and expensive prices.
