Today we’d like to introduce you to Lily Einstein.
Hi Lily, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I was born and raised in Santa Monica, CA, but educated in and around Philadelphia, PA. I completed my undergraduate degree in Biology at Haverford College, conducted research in cellular biology at the University of Pennsylvania, and graduated with honors from Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry. After practicing in the Philly area, I moved back home to Santa Monica in 2024, where I have been working in private practice since. I strive for technical excellence and pride myself on going above and beyond to provide a comfortable experience for my patients.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Dentistry can be mentally, emotionally, and physically taxing. As a dentist I perform precision craftsmanship on the millimeter scale- in the dark and dynamic environment of my patient’s mouth. At the same time, I need to be constantly aware of how my patient is doing so that I can keep them as comfortable as possible. On top of that, maintaining good posture and ergonomics is essential to minimize long term damage to my neck and back. While dentistry is certainly challenging, I wouldn’t trade my job for anything. The reward of doing good, honest work that improves the health of my patients is worth it!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a human first, and a dentist second. What sets me apart is not just clinical skill—it’s the commitment to treat every patient with the same compassion, honesty, and care I would offer to my family. I understand that dental visits can be vulnerable for patients. My role is not to judge, lecture, or shame. My goal is to meet you where you’re at and provide you with what you need to improve your health, so that you can be the best version of yourself, whether it’s just a really thorough dental exam and cleaning, or aesthetic and cosmetic dental work.
I currently work at two practices- Pacific View Smile Center in Santa Monica and Silicon Beach Dental in Culver City. At both practices, we use the best techniques and materials to give you superior care.
