Meet Anastasia Fox of AnaFoxBeauty

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anastasia Fox.

Hi Anastasia, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’m Anastasia Fox, a European-trained esthetician with nearly two decades of experience, a former nurse, and the founder of AnaFoxBeauty in Woodland Hills. My work is rooted in a deeper philosophy of skin. I believe that skin health goes beyond surface-level treatments and I focus on long-term skin health, nervous system regulation, and true radiance. I didn’t enter this industry with a business plan. I started with my hands, my intuition, and a desire to truly understand the skin. I began my journey in Europe, where skincare is slower, more intentional, and focused on long-term results rather than quick fixes.
That’s really how AnaFoxBeauty came to life. Not from trends, but from experience. From paying attention. From working with real people and seeing what actually makes a difference.
Now I work with women who don’t want to look different. They want to look like themselves just more refreshed, more lifted, more put together.
And honestly, I think I was building this the whole time, even when I didn’t fully realize it.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. I think one of the biggest challenges was not the work itself, but everything around it. Building a business on your own means you’re responsible for everything your schedule, your income, your growth, your mistakes. There’s no one to rely on, and that can feel heavy at times. When I moved to Los Angeles, I had to adjust to a completely different market. In the beginning, it wasn’t easy to position myself the way I wanted. There’s a lot of noise in the beauty industry, and it takes time to find your own voice and your own approach. Another challenge was learning not to compare myself to others. Especially in a city like LA, it’s easy to feel like you’re not doing enough or not moving fast enough. I had to really focus on my own path and trust that consistency would take me where I needed to go. I also went through personal challenges while trying to grow professionally, and that’s something people don’t always see. But in a way, those experiences helped me become more grounded and more aware of how much emotional state affects the way we look and feel. Looking back, I don’t see those challenges as setbacks. They were part of the process that shaped my work and the way I approach my clients today with more depth, more patience, and more intention.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
AnaFoxBeauty is a private skincare studio focused on long-term skin health and natural, refined results. I specialize in customized facials, brow and lash treatments, and advanced techniques that combine skin work with lifting, structure, and relaxation. My approach is not about aggressive treatments or quick fixes. It’s more about working with the skin over time and creating visible, but natural results. What sets my work apart is how I look at the face as a whole. I don’t just focus on the skin surface. I pay attention to muscle tension, lymphatic flow, and how stress shows up in the face. That’s why many of my treatments include sculpting massage, gentle lifting techniques, and a calming, almost meditative experience. A lot of my clients come to me not just for results, but for how they feel during and after the treatment. They leave looking more lifted and refreshed, but also more relaxed and grounded. I’m also very intentional about the environment I create. It’s quiet, private, and designed to feel elevated but comfortable at the same time. I don’t try to follow trends. I focus on consistency, quality, and building long-term relationships with my clients. I’m most proud of the trust I’ve built. Many of my clients have been coming to me for years, and they value subtle changes that make a real difference over time. At the end of the day, my goal is simple to help women look like themselves, just more polished, more rested, and more confident.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
I would say consistency. Not in a perfect way, but in a very real, everyday way. Showing up, even when things don’t feel clear. Continuing to work, learn, and move forward without always knowing the outcome. There were many moments where I didn’t feel confident, especially when I was starting over in a new country. But I didn’t stop. I kept going, step by step, even when progress felt slow. I also think awareness has been very important for me. Being able to observe not only my work, but people, energy, and how small details make a difference. That’s something that shaped both my personal growth and my approach to clients. For me, success didn’t come from one big moment. It came from staying consistent, paying attention, and being willing to grow through every stage.
