Today we’d like to introduce you to Regan Estrada.
Hi Regan, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My background has always lived at the intersection of fashion and marketing in some capacity. I started out working in corporate retail while simultaneously running my own small brand. From there, I moved into creative marketing, and later shifted again when I relocated to Los Angeles after being scouted by modeling agencies. Since then, I’ve continued modeling while also working across the fashion, marketing, and hospitality spaces.
Being a working model has given me a unique perspective on the industry — allowing me to understand both the creative and the business sides of fashion and content production.
About a month ago, I stepped into a role with Arete Studios that completely shifted my world. It was one of those opportunities that felt perfectly aligned with everything I had been building toward. I now run the Los Angeles studio, which has been an incredibly exciting challenge. My role blends creative direction, operations, and community-building — ensuring the studio is not just a functional space, but a hub where creatives, brands, and talent can collaborate.
What I love most about Arete is that the brand isn’t just about studio space — it’s about creating an ecosystem for creativity. Being able to help shape that on the West Coast has been a major turning point for me. It feels like a natural extension of everything I’ve done so far: bringing together fashion, content, and creative communities in a way that feels authentic and forward-thinking. Every day brings something new, and I’m excited for everything that’s ahead.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There were a lot of times of uncertainty. A lot of moments of “what am I doing with my life?” and “should I give up?” to be honest. But ever since receiving this role and having it happen so quickly, everything makes sense all of a sudden and I truly feel like my life has just begun.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a model, a social media manager, and I am the Head of IRL at Arete Studios in Los Angeles.
Some of my day to day operations working at Arete are inventory management, influencer management, helping with stylist pulls, and working super closely with all of our independent designers from all over the world.
I do freelance social media for two restaurants (Kapé & Lasita) where I create content, manage a content schedule, and run their social media accounts.
Lastly, I model as well! Every day looks different when you’re on set so I can’t really tell you what that looks like (lol).
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I love to work and be busy but I also love to have fun!!! Work hard play hard.
