Conversations with Eva Vaisman

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eva Vaisman.

Hi Eva, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.

I am from Argentina, and I have lived in this beautiful country for 47 years, a journey filled with vibrant colors and fragrant blooms. My passion for flowers has guided my career for 36 years, transforming them into exquisite arrangements that tell stories and evoke emotions. I remember the enthusiasm I felt as I enrolled in entrepreneurship classes at Mission College, dreaming of one day owning a thriving floral business. My time at Valley Leadership was transformative; the connections I made and the knowledge I gained were invaluable.
I had the honor of appearing on the Spanish television show Mujer Hoy, sharing my journey, and after seven fruitful years at Univision, I honed my craft by learning from the best designers in the floral industry. Attending BNI meetings allowed me to network with like-minded entrepreneurs, fueling my ambition. I traveled to Philadelphia to marvel at the incredible flowers from around the world, and I never miss the Rose Parade, where the artistry of floral design truly shines.

I believe that we possess a unique gift: the power to turn people’s dreams into reality through the art of flowers. I owe immense gratitude to my sons, my silent business partners, whose unwavering support has been my greatest strength. Together, we create not just arrangements, but lasting memories that bloom in the hearts of our clients.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Just like most people in this country, getting money to keep the business afloat is always a struggle.

I’m a florist with a passion for creating breathtaking wedding florals that tell a story. Over the past 36 years, I’ve transformed countless visions into reality, each bouquet a unique reflection of love and commitment. I take pride in being attentive to my clients’ needs, often forming lasting friendships in the process. My small, dedicated team shares my vision and expertise, allowing us to craft exquisite arrangements that capture the emotions of the day. Every wedding we touch is not just a job; it’s a chance to be part of a beautiful moment in someone’s life.

Any big plans?
I plan to do more weddings in the future. I hope to have my son sell more flowers to the clients who show up late at night.
