Hi Nikita, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Long Beach based Oilstainlab is changing the landscape of automotive with the HF-11.

The Bridan twins either fail or succeed twice as fast. Their journey started in the Ukraine, then dropped out of high school at 14 then off to design school in Italy and eventually CA.

20 years later they are about to bring their first production car…after working with Honda/Acura, GAC, GM, Toyota, Genesis and others.

Founded in Long Beach, 2019 by twins Nikita and Iliya Bridan, Oilstainlab is anchored in the past with a bold eye for the future. For five years, they’ve tested their 1960’s inspired Half-11 prototype globally, writing their own history along the way.

Together with global industry partners, the HF-11 is being honed to be the ultimate street legal vehicle. Only 25 limited edition cars will be available worldwide with 11 going to discriminating buyers as part of an exclusive “Maniac” package.

Nikita Bridan is co-founder & chief executive officer of Oilstainlab. A car design strategist with 15 years of OEM and startup experience, Nikita has worked with world-renowned brands including Lyft, Cruise, GM, Toyota, Genesis, ONE, and more on electrification, platforms, and strategy. In 2019, Nikita co-founded Oilstainlab with his twin brother, Iliya, as an automotive design consultancy service and playground, and developed it into a boundary-pushing, custom vehicle manufacturer. Nikita lives his life as fast as the cars he builds, once being pulled over at 140mph in Arizona and getting off with a warning. Nikita earned bachelor’s degrees in Transportation Design from the Istitudo Europeo di Design in Italy and the ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, California, where he now serves as an instructor to the next generation of designers.

What’s next?
Oilstainlab is going into full production mode in 2026 making the HF-11 from concept to street faster than traditional OEMS. The team aims to break speed records on professional tracks too.
