Check Out Maddie O’Hara’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Maddie O’Hara.

Hi Maddie , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I used to work in the entertainment world for years, and I always had a love for all things home. I started wallpapering for fun, and it quickly turned into a love my mom and I shared together. After loosing my dad and her husband, we found comfort in each other and diving into a business that makes people love their home again. I’ve always loved making any space I’m in uniquely mine, and wallpaper does just that. We love adding such a wow moment for our clients spaces.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not always smooth, we started without any training, had a flop of an install, and then dove in deep into learning all things wallpaper. We took a 10 series course through Wallcovering Installers Association and became certified Residential Wallcovering Installers, and learned so much through the process. We were determined to come out on top and learn everything we could. It made us better.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Realty Beverly Hills, and what truly drives my work is people. I spend a great deal of time in other people’s homes, which has given me a strong intuition for what feels comfortable, authentic, and meaningful to them.

I’m extremely detail-oriented and known for my ability to listen closely and understand what resonates with someone—whether that’s finding the right home or helping them envision how a specific space can be elevated. To me, real estate is about much more than moving from one property to the next. A home is where people feel most themselves, and being invited into that space is something I don’t take lightly.

What I’m most proud of is the trust my clients place in me. I approach every relationship with care, respect, and intention, and I believe that ability to connect on a human level is what truly sets me apart.

What’s next?
I’m stoked for this year. We have tons of new wallpapers we’re on deck to install. Hoping to expand into some small boutiques and businesses. Really wanting to expand my clientele!
