We recently had the chance to connect with Fuad Osceola and have shared our conversation below.
Fuad , really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Taking a swim in the ocean, a cold water high is something special
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Right now I am helping veterans heal physical and mental wounds with massage therapy
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
A Street punk slapped me across the face.
The sting stimulated power that resulted in spontaneously throwing him down
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Once I was caught in an undertow. Wave after wave pinned me in place. It was extremely tiring, but eventually, I was able to break free.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
Dr Salvador Roquet, a Mexican psychiatrist and healer who helped indigenous people.
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
He liked to laugh.
