Daily Inspiration: Meet Antonia Mollica

Today we’d like to introduce you to Antonia Mollica.

Hi Antonia, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always loved homes. Even before real estate was a career path for me, it was something I naturally gravitated toward, walking through open houses, appreciating design, and imagining how spaces could feel and support the people living in them. Home has always meant more to me than just four walls. It is about safety, inspiration, peace, and belonging.

Before real estate, I was working in beauty sales. I learned a lot and did well, but I reached a point where I knew I wanted more. More growth, more creativity, and more space to build something of my own. At the time, real estate was still more of a passion on the side. I was living in West Hollywood and driving up PCH for work, constantly noticing the “For Sale” signs along the coast, especially in Malibu and the Palisades. I loved watching new construction pop up and spent weekends wandering through open houses just to see what was being created.

One day it clicked. I decided I wasn’t just going to admire homes. I was going to sell them.

I worked my beauty job during the day, went to real estate school at night, earned my license, and started at Sotheby’s in Pacific Palisades. That first year was humbling. I was juggling two full-time commitments while trying to learn an entirely new industry, including its systems, contracts, and market dynamics, and, most importantly, how to earn trust with no track record yet. It was overwhelming, but I was lucky to work alongside a seasoned agent who taught me the business firsthand. My first deal took nearly a year to close, but when it finally did, it changed everything.

Since then, every transaction has been a learning experience. No two deals are ever the same. Some are smooth, some are emotional, and some are dramatic, but all of them require deep trust, strong relationships, market knowledge, and a lot of heart. Real estate is layered, part strategy, part problem-solving, and part emotional support. You are guiding people through one of the most personal and sometimes stressful moments of their lives, and I take that responsibility seriously.

I love connecting people, building trusted networks, and helping clients navigate every detail, from prepping a home to sell, locating opportunities both on and off market, marketing, negotiations, contracts, inspections, working my way through each transaction as smoothly as possible. I especially love helping people create homes they truly love. I’m a homebody at heart. I love nesting and creating spaces that feel peaceful and inspiring, and that naturally carries into how I work with my clients. Being part of someone’s journey to find or create a home that supports their life is incredibly rewarding.

Alongside real estate, fitness has always been another passion of mine. I’ve always loved movement, nature, and pushing myself to grow. When I took my first Lagree class at Pilates Plus in Malibu, it was the most challenging hour of my fitness journey. It was the hardest thing I had ever done, mentally and physically, and I became determined to master it. That journey challenged me in ways I didn’t expect and ultimately empowered me so much that I decided to get certified and start teaching.

Stepping in front of a class with a mic on my head was way outside my comfort zone, but I fell in love with it. I loved helping people show up for themselves, challenge themselves, and see real progress. That led me to create Body By Antonia, where I now train clients privately. It is about so much more than fitness. It is about meeting people exactly where they are and helping them build strength, confidence, and belief in themselves. Seeing clients grow, hearing messages like “I fit into my goal jeans,” and watching people feel strong and proud of themselves is one of the most rewarding parts of my life.

At the core of everything I do, whether it’s real estate or fitness, is the same intention. I want to help people feel supported, empowered, and confident as they step into the next version of themselves.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not. If it were easy, everyone would do it.

There have been countless setbacks, failures, and moments of doubt. Learning a new industry from scratch was overwhelming. Building trust without experience was hard. In real estate especially, you can pour enormous amounts of energy into a deal only to have it fall apart for reasons completely outside your control. The highs are very high, and the lows can be very low.

But every setback has taught me something. I’ve learned resilience, patience, and how to stay grounded through uncertainty. I’ve learned to embrace whatever is in front of me and keep going. When a deal finally comes together, or when a client has a truly great outcome, it feels earned. Those wins are incredibly rewarding.

One of my more recent challenges was relocating about a year and a half ago from Malibu to the South Bay. While it is close enough to still serve my clients, it required an internal shift. I needed to get grounded in a new community, build new routines, and find my footing again. I had worked out of Pacific Palisades for years, and the fires changed everything. In hindsight, the move pushed me exactly where I needed to be. Joining The Agency South Bay was a fresh start and ultimately helped me feel more settled and aligned.

There was a sign at the first Pilates studio where I trained that said, “If it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you.” That phrase has stayed with me. It applies to fitness, real estate, and life. Growth requires showing up, doing the work, and not letting setbacks stop you, just finding new ways forward.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
At the heart of everything I do is connection. Whether I’m working in real estate or training clients through Body By Antonia, my focus is on making people feel heard, understood, and at ease. When people feel supported, real progress can happen.

In real estate, what sets me apart is the relationships I build with my clients. Buying or selling a home is deeply personal, and trust is everything. I take the time to listen, read the room, and understand what each client truly needs. Some people want more guidance and reassurance, while others prefer a quieter, more hands-off experience. I adapt my approach to each individual and always put my clients’ best interests first.

I specialize in the South Bay, as well as the Westside up through Malibu, and I’m known for creating smooth, thoughtful experiences whether my clients are buying or selling. I’m a strong negotiator and I work hard to uncover great opportunities, both on and off market. I’m most proud of the trust my clients place in me and the long-term relationships that come from that.

That same ability to connect also extends to my work with developers. They are often looking for select, off-market properties with clear upside, which requires a strong understanding of the numbers, risk, and potential return. I enjoy searching for opportunities others might overlook and seeing potential where most people don’t. That perspective is now guiding me toward pursuing my own future investment and renovation projects.

Body By Antonia is another expression of the same philosophy. I offer one-on-one private Pilates based training in a calm, intentionally designed space. Every session is tailored to where each client is physically and mentally that day. Some sessions are focused and quiet, others feel more like therapy, but I always meet people exactly where they are.

This work challenged me deeply and pushed me far outside my comfort zone. Watching my clients grow stronger, more confident, and more connected to themselves is incredibly rewarding.

In both businesses, my role is the same. I create space for people to feel supported, capable, and confident as they move into the next chapter of their lives.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
So many people.

First and foremost, my clients. Their trust, loyalty, and belief in me mean everything. I wouldn’t be where I am today without them, and I am deeply grateful for every person who has allowed me to guide them through such an important chapter of their lives.

My partner, Scott, has been a constant source of support, encouragement, and belief in me and my goals. Having someone who truly sees you and stands beside you makes all the difference.

And my colleagues at The Agency, especially the group of women at my South Bay office. Having a core group to lean on, share advice with, and navigate this business together has been invaluable. Real estate can feel isolating at times, and that sense of community and support has meant more than I can say.

At the end of the day, I am grateful for every challenge, every client, and every person who has been part of my journey. Each experience has shaped me into who I am today, and I am excited to keep growing, learning, and helping others do the same.
