Today we’d like to introduce you to Skye Ding.

Hi Skye, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started ANNOVA because I had a clear vision. I noticed a gap in the home goods and home decor markets. There simply weren’t many colorful, thoughtfully designed utensils available, especially ones that felt both joyful and modern. I set out to change that. The journey wasn’t easy and came with many struggles, but I’m grateful for every part of it. I spent countless hours planning my designs, carefully selecting flatware handle colors, and refining every detail. I got to where I am today because I never quit. I was able to learn from my mistakes and continued to move forward even when things felt impossible.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Good things do not come easily! One of my biggest struggles in my ANNOVA journey thus far have been dealing with product manufacturers. It was challenging for me to find a high quality manufacturer that shared the same vision that I did. It took a lot of trial and error to find the right manufacturer. To me, this was a necessary struggle. Having a manufacturer that puts quality first, is important to me.

We’ve been impressed with ANNOVA, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
The most important quality behind my success is perseverance. Building ANNOVA hasn’t been easy, but I’ve stayed committed through challenges, learned from mistakes, and kept moving forward. That determination has allowed me to grow and continue evolving the brand into what it is today.
